I took a little break from this series because I was getting annoyed with parts of it. I think that was a good idea. When I came back to it, I enjoyed it more. Joe's grandmother is always an interesting character to have in the stories. I love that people are so scared of her and "the eye." The senior citizen vampire made me laugh probably more than it should have. I still think that Stephanie should be getting better at the bounty hunter gig and she really needs to decide between Ranger and Joe, though neither of them seems to be pushing to have a decision made. I will say that I figured out the twist before Stephanie did, which I always enjoy.
