Loved how this thriller was fast-paced, fun, but also had a good amount of depth. There was basically no build up and the story took off from the first chapter. I think some of the side relationships, such as the main character's girlfriend and ex could have been a bit more fleshed out, but the main story was so riveting that it didn't really matter. The author is really good at throwing little details and dialogue in that make the scenes feel real to the reader, and though the plot was quite dark (as with many crime thrillers) the book didn't feel overly depressing or heavy.
