Love and Reservations by Dee Rollings

3.5

This was a fun, lighthearted book for me. While I have not read the first book in the series, that didn't really impact this read - it felt like a standalone in a series. However, getting to know Blake and Sal makes me want to pick up the first book! With fake dating to impress a family, this was simple and enjoyable. I felt some things were a little glossed over, but it wasn't really a pro or con to the book - and, maybe some of those things were addressed in the first book! It did feel like the characters were willing to admit miscommunication or issues pretty early which was refreshing, versus dragging it out and being the whole problem in the relationship. However, it did feel a little unrealistic sometimes with how quickly the resolution happened (but if that's how healthy relationships go, I am all for it!)

Thank you to Dee Rollings for the ARC!
