There's a reason why the training camp is one of Haikyuu's top-tier arcs, or perhaps, it is one of the best arcs in sports shonen of all time. It covers all basic grounds in improving themselves, but at the same time, gives a spotlight to each character to shine and develop in terms of character. Not to mention, the writing is well-executed instead of being too brief or exaggerated.
