False Step by Victoria Helen Stone

It was a nicely written book albeit extremely predictable. Fast summer read with no thought required. The writer really developed the main character, but unfortunately she was so insecure I kept feeling her insecurity (but did not want to). Since it played into the story, I'll forgive it but there were pages on end dedicated to showing she was insecure. I wish she had made her a little stronger and developed the other extremely flat characters more (or made the book a little shorter - this really should have been a short story or novella).
