wow, what a collection. i have wanted to get back into poetry for a while now, but since in the past i’ve mostly read things i found lacklustre i’ve been a bit discouraged, but by God if this didn’t fix that.
i don’t like to talk too much about poetry collections like this after the first read through because i think they deserve much more of my time, attention and consideration than that, but nonetheless i can already say that this was absolutely phenomenal, beautiful and gut wrenching, and i cannot wait to read it again & see what else this writer has put out and will put out.
