★★★★★ - I loved it and I think this is probably the best book I've read this year so far

I know since 2023 started I've only read good books that I really enjoyed. But this one hit differently. It's been a long time since I haven't loved a book that much. I was so into the mystery and so interested in the murder Pip was trying to solve. I really cared about the story and it was so refreshing.
Also, most of the time, I'm not really into mystery novels, thrillers and murder stuff because I tend to guess who the murderer is quite easily. But this time, I was completely wrong about what had happened and it was honestly so nice to read about a murder that's not easy to solve and kinda dumb and blank where you immediately know who is the killer.
I also loved the original presentation (it's not all a classic book, there are some diagrams and drawings in the book and even if it scared me a bit a first, I ended up loving it).
And the characters. We have to talk about them.
It's a YA novel so I thought maybe the characters would be a bit stereotypical and easy to understand. But they weren't and it truly made the book amazing to read. I loved the two protagonists (Pip and Ravi) and I was so invested in their storyline.
In conclusion: I loved this book with all my heart and I recommend it to absolutely everyone, including people who aren't usually into YA mystery/murder/thriller. Believe me, it's amazing and you won't regret reading it.
