Human: The Science Behind What Makes Us Unique by Michael S. Gazzaniga

4.0

Thought provoking, interesting and enjoyable. Although a few years old this book detailed many areas of study in neuroscience that is being used to explore and define how our brain works. For Gazzaniga is telling us that it is the function of our brains that makes us unique. That is, the unique way in which our brain is wired and functions that separates us from the other animals. The last chapter was particularly enjoyable. Gazzaniga reported on the different attempts to model and create artificial intelligence. Postulating where this might lead us as a species. Loved it.
