Ok this was such a cute read. Our MCs Nova and Ezra were absolutely precious. Their friendship was so sweet, childhood friends. Watching them finally admitting their feelings made me so giddy I was kicking my feet.
The story is pretty low stakes. It had some witchy magic hijinks, but nothing too over the top. But the ending the stakes did get a bit higher. It was quite the surprise!
If you liked Halloweentown on the Disney channel growing up, and wish there was something like that but for adults, then THIS is the book for you. Cuddle up and read it in an afternoon this fall!
