The Switch by Beth O'Leary
Did not finish book. Stopped at 22%.
Overall I kind of just got more and more into a slump because of the heavy focus on the grief present in both Leena and her mum, and how her mum isn’t herself. Stan Eileen tho. It’s not a bad book, just not the right time to read it as atm I want to read more lighthearted books that can cheer me up, and over time I lost interest because of how frequent grief is mentioned. Would recommend the flatshare though, good book if you want to try Beth o Leary as an author :)
Graphic: Cancer and Grief
It mentions the grief more than you’d think considering it’s not the main focus on the book. Would not recommend reading if you’re currently grieving yourself or you want something more lighthearted, or you don’t feel yourself lately.
