Intriguing Take on the Cinderella Fairytale
I enjoyed this story. The author did a good job turning the old Cinderella fairytale into an intriguing suspense romance. In this variation, Ella is a spy in the Fan Society, an organization created for and devoted to protecting the royal family. Although I Ella, I confess there were a couple of times when I wanted to strangle her as she became focused on the search for her lost family member almost to the exclusion of all else, including her mission.
My favorite character was the prince, Adrian, a very unusual male lead for a romance story. Usually, I prefer the MMC to be an alpha male, which Adrian most definitely was not. But still, I liked him a lot. Happy reading!
