A Room With A View
by E.M. Forster
i don’t want to be in such a rush to finish reading a lot of books and every time i read a victorian novel i have to remind myself that books are meant to be read for pleasure also. there’s nothing i could particularly learn from this novel as a casual reader and that’s it.
sometime later i will watch the 1986 film of the same title. it was a fairly simple story with not too complex characters and refreshingly certain modern views for its time. i personally love lgbtq+ romance more but i think i like reading all romance nonetheless. i want to read more victorian novels with a calm mind so that i can grasp the story better lol. nothing beats the feeling of finishing a book tho so i shall work gradually around it.
i want to read more e.m. forster and i am glad this was my first and that i enjoyed it.
