Even a book about a mature love is..anything but mature. I'm on page 13 and the MMC is already checking out a woman backside in front of the FMC who he will end up with and before that a waitress. Why are these books called romance books if we only get manwhores or sleeze men? The bar is in hell if this is what are we suppose to swoon at.
Another thing is how insecure the FMC is. Can we ever get a FL who is assured of herself and know her own value for once? Gods sake.
