The writing style was simple yet so meaningful. The quotes from this book are phenomenal and I love the characters. It has such an informative context behind it as well. Unfortunatelty, I did not cry and I'm not entirely sure why because there were definitely some heavy topics. Do check the trigger warnings.
I love how Colleen Hoover encompassed the entire process of an abusive relationship and how it unfolds. As someone who has not been in one myself, I was still able to go through the emotions and feelings of our main character Lily. I also loved Alyssa and Marshall ontop of the main couple, a little disappointed with the lack of Atlas but I understand the reasoning behind it. I was a little uncomfortable with Atlas being 18 and Lily being 15-16 in the past.
