I didnt know anything about this book before I started it and I'm sort of glad I didn't!
I ADORED THIS BOOK.
The writing was so fresh and funny and it really felt like I was in the head of a teenager (sometimes I even spoke aloud to her, telling her that she was the problem).
I spent the whole book unsure ifthe magic was going to be real or if it was all going to be imagined by Maeve and i was so happy that the ending didn't have a bunch of rational explanations for everything that happened.
I've never experienced tarot readings or cards and this book made me want to get a set of cards and learn all about them.
I also loved the narration of the audiobook. I thought the narrator told the story so well and really made me feel like it was all happening.
I absolutely adore the character relationships across all of the characters.
I love the Queer representation and discussion. It was really straight forward and made so much sense.
I just can't wait to start the next book now. I will be starting it TODAY.
