Wow. This book is important and I was absolutely blown away. I loved how honest it was. The friendships, child-parent relationships, female joy -- I just loved so so much about this book. I think this would have been a 4.5 or 5 star read, but listening to it on audio was really difficult towards the end. I wish there had been more warning or some kind CW at the start of the book because I was not prepared for how graphic it would be. It would still have been difficult to read, but was even more difficult to listen to -- especially while on the train. [Also, the authors note at the end was perfect and I hope everyone reads it.]
