I read this in close to one sitting and have no regrets.
This is the best Sarah J. Maas book hands down.
I've never really been into fantasy due to all the world building and how it often confuses me.
This book started out very heavy on the explanation of the world which I don't know if I like but after the first 5 chapters or so, I was sold which is why this still has 5 stars from me.
Some of the things I loved:
- I loved how throughout we get a feeling of knowing everything about the different characters but over and over again we are proved wrong.
- I loved how the book isn't fast paced, I really got the feeling of their character development and how relationships builded between characters during and between events.
Also a little note to foreign readers: This can be a little heavy with so many Names, places and species, especially if you don't usually read fantasy.
English is not my first language but I read almost every book in English.
