How the Irish Saved Civilization: The Untold Story of Ireland's Heroic Role from the Fall of Rome to the Rise of Medieval Europe by Thomas Cahill

4.0

Really enjoying Cahill's Hinges of History series.
This one was a long read through the firwst half, but necessary to set up the history.
But once Patrick arrive, the second half was fascinating.
Also, the final paragraph was one of the most powerful closings I have ever read, and though 25 years old, is incredibly apropos to today.
