Admissions: A Life in Brain Surgery by Henry Marsh

3.0

I definitely found parts of this book fascinating, as a scrub nurse who has not had a chance to be involved in any neurological surgeries yet Marsh's explanations of neuro surgeries definitely helped scratch my itch. That being said, I was slightly disappointed that there wasn't more discussion about neurosurgery and instead there was a focus on Marsh's life and retirement. Marsh is by no means uninteresting, but as somebody who picked this book up for the surgical subject matter, it didn't quite hit the mark for me.
