Lullaby by Chuck Palahniuk

3.0

This is the 1st and so far only Palahniuk book I've read. I picked it up before some of his more notable novels for somewhat silly reasons - mainly because it was shorter then Choke and because the summary sounded less depressing then some of the other options. The book was enjoyable and interesting but while reading it I kept getting the feeling that the story is just missing that tiny little extra fraction it needed to become more then just OK. It did however convince me that the Palahniuk is an original and complex writer and I will most likely read some more of his novels in the near future.
