Out of the books in the Rose Hill series by Elsie Silver, I think this might be the one I liked the most so far. I’ve found that this series didn’t click with me as much as Chestnut Springs but I can’t deny that I do enjoy Elsie Silver’s books regardless. This was also more of an enemies to friends to lovers situation with a fake marriage and some other secrets thrown in and I think that all of the elements did work in the context of this particular story. I liked the characters a lot and I found this one a little more emotional than I expected as well. A solid romance from Silver for sure.
