All the Lies by S.T. Abby
4.5

"Never mock or harm the passionate, for they are the fiercest with their wrath." —Victoria Evans

I’m not going to lie. When I finished Book 1, I wasn’t sure if this series was for me. By the end of Book 2, I was more invested, and by Book 3, I was fully locked in.
This series is fast-paced and addicting. Every scene and every line of dialogue felt intentional. It helped me truly understand Lana and everything she’s been through. Her bond with Jake had me emotionally invested in hearing their story and rooting for their mission to succeed.
When Lana and Logan meet, there's instant chemistry, and they fall in love quickly. Insta-love is by far my least favorite trope, and their relationship definitely moved fast, but it felt somewhat believable given his job and her extracurricular activities.
Each book ends with a cliffhanger that had me immediately starting the next one.
The only reason this series wasn’t a full 5 stars for me was the amount of suspension of disbelief it required. Now that I’m figuring out my reading taste, I find myself gravitating more towards emotional and realistic stories.
But please understand, this series was a WILD RIDE and SUCH a good time. I’d absolutely recommend it to anyone looking for a fast-paced, dark, romantic mystery / thriller. It kept me engaged and guessing until the very end.
