Gender Queer: A Memoir by Maia Kobabe

challenging informative reflective medium-paced

3.0

To be honest I don't really know I to feel about this book.
I really loved the style of drawing. Although I was kinda disturbed by the whole pap smear thing, and I am now terrified for when I have to go.
Also, this book was very personal, like, extremely so, and I get uncomfortable when I read something so intimate.
I wanted to read this book to understand more of the non-binary world but if anything I'm just more confused, the ending of the book didn't seem to have a clear conclusion.
Some of the stuff in the book seemed a little off as well. I dunno, I didn't really understand half of what was going on, so maybe I'm wrong.
Anyway, I'm sure there's someone out there who will find it helpful on whatever journey they're going on.
