The Other People by C.J. Tudor

5.0

She sleeps. A pale girl in a white room.

Gabe is driving home from work one night when he thinks he sees his little girl in the back of another vehicle. He is sure his daughter is at home, safe and sound but decides to follow the car anyway. As he loses sight of the car he decides to call home but instead of his wife, a detective answers only to inform him that his wife and daughter have been murdered.
But Gabe believes he saw his daughter that night. He is sure she is alive. Someone took her and he is going to find her and bring her back.

What would you do if someone hurt your nearest and dearest? Would you forgive them? Would you trust that justice would prevail? Or will you take matters in your own hands and exact retribution in your own way? Life for life, eye for eye, tooth for tooth.

“People say hate and bitterness will destroy you. They’re wrong. It’s hope. Hope will devour you from the inside like a parasite. It will leave you hanging like bait above a shark.”

As soon as I began the book I knew it is going to be a 5 star read. C.J. Tudor has easily become one of my favorite authors.
