let the dead in by Saida Agostini is a beautifully written account of the struggle of black women through the lens of African mythology. This collection is both inspiring and devastating, showing the perseverance of African women as well as all of the struggles that they face. The poems have a lyricism to them that feels almost song like, with great use of page layout to enhance the flow.
