The House in the Cerulean Sea by TJ Klune

3.0

The House in the Cerulean Sea started with so much promise. At its best it is whimsical and moving, in the mode of Gaiman or Pratchett, crossed with a Pixar film. Unfortunately, about a third of the way through the tweeness started to grate, and the cute moral lessons got a bit repetitive for me.
