A fever dream of a story. I don’t think you ever know the main character/protagonist’s name. So that already makes me uncomfortable. So, he’s driving home from work early morning and finds a girl in his driveway. He attempts to drive her home, but the day restarts itself and he finds the stranger in his driveway again.  And it gets weirder and weirder from there. Fans of “I’m Thinking of Ending Things” by Iain Reid will like this novel. But the end of “One” is so much more satisfying and easier to understand.
