A Homemade Life: Stories and Recipes from My Kitchen Table by Molly Wizenberg

4.0

I enjoyed this book as a memoir. The recipes look good too, but I haven't tried any of them yet. This book is a compilation of Ms. Wizenberg's blog. My biggest problem with most blogs is that they tend to be random and uneven. But this book doesn't suffer from that, since there is a clear narrative arc. I would imagine that some postings were omitted and others were reordered. Ms. Wizenberg's father Burg is a strong presence throughout the book.

This book is kind of like having a smart, well-traveled friend share her life, both its ups and downs, with you. I walked away from this book wishing I really did know Molly.
