this book is so ridiculous and the more time you spend thinking about it the more ridiculous it gets. and when you start thinking about how goethe spent over 30 years writing this it becomes a true teufelskreis about you not being able to decide if you think it's hilarious that he spent so long writing this tiny a** book or if it is totally understandable that he needed that much time to write this because it actually is a masterpiece.
