“Healing didn’t need to involve the person that hurt you.”
First book by Asia in audio form and this will not be my last. When I tell you I loved every single thing about this. Chefs kiss. The sisters and their careers really made me smile. Love how different they are and of course how they have one another backs. They went through a lot. Asia put so much in this story that it read like a full length book. We got love of different kinds, hurt/pain, a plot twist and even healing. Even the side characters had a going on.
Let’s not forget Lennox. As he was talking i literally said “he is the kind of man that makes you feel safe. Feel like you can open up to him and never have to worry. That’s what i want.” The way he loved on and protected my girl was down right romantic. Baby the spice in this can give your body chills. Truly one of one. Enjoyed his family as well and where their story line took us. Just a damn good read
