Buffy the Vampire Slayer Legacy Edition Book Four by

5.0

The storytelling by about 2001 gets so much better in these comics because the issues start to integrate and wrap around the TV show episodes more. The characters feel more like the characters should, the balance of humor and drama feels about right, and the artwork is much less problematic that it was earlier (the later artists depict young characters in a more age-appropriate way, thank goodness.) The first two parts of the "Haunted" miniseries are written by Jane Espenson, who also wrote episodes for the TV series, and really feel like long-lost Buffy episodes.
