this book was everything I needed as another supposedly bad "feminist". I consume way too much media and been struggling to find the balance between being a feminist and just enjoying stuff as it is. this book was very cathartic to me and helping me realize feminism is just a term for me, as a woman, and more so an individual, to be free in my choices and decisions without being affected by other individual feminist and people and their choices. I could say so much more about how well written and informed it is, but most importantly I'm now a big fan of Roxane Gay 😌
