We Have Always Been Here: A Queer Muslim Memoir
by Samra Habib
I read this book for my LGBTQ+ literature class. The book does a very good job of showcasing intersectionality a Muslim household. It is a glimpse into a completely different culture from my own, and I enjoyed that. The story can be a little monotone in places, but overall, it was extremely informative.
