House of Flame and Shadow by Sarah J. Maas

Did not finish book. Stopped at 60%.

I got this out from the library twice but I still couldn’t finish it. I wanted to like it. The previous two books were ALSO hard to get into, but ultimately paid off. This one had a reasonably strong start, but then I really only stuck with it because I was curious about universe crossovers and I just haven’t been able to care about these folk enough to stick with their story. Maybe next time this one comes around at the library I’ll feel more drawn to it.
