One Life by Megan Rapinoe, Emma Brockes

hopeful inspiring reflective fast-paced

5.0

I'm a big football fan - but I'm an Aussie, so Megan Rapinoe, being one of the best players in the dominant US team (and the world), has always been someone I didn't care much for, purely because I don't like watching the Matildas (Australian women's national football team) lose, especially to the USA! But I also have some important things in common with Megan, things that transcend sport, and parts of her (and her family's) story are familiar to me. This book is honest, eye-opening, and inspiring - and worth reading even if you're not into football.
