so this guy committed murder or whatever but more importantly, HE WASN'T SAD AT HIS MOM'S FUNERAL!!! case closed, time to cleave his head off.
idk i really liked the plague so i came into this with super high expectations. i get that meursault was supposed to be a stone-cold dude detached from morality and all but he was just sooo shallow. for 110 pages it was awfully long. i guess i was starting to chip away at the deeper philosophical side of this and i do wanna give it another chance but it's just so nihilistic and so depressing.
