Deep Water by Emma Bamford

Did not finish book. Stopped at 90%.
I meant that I jumped around in this audiobook. This book really should be titled white woman, fragility or white woman tears. Virgine is the woman's name and sides, her needing support acceptance, and to be liked by the male people in her life. Her choices were what got her and Jake in this mess to begin with. There is this loose Malaysian dome over the location where they are in the in the water or rather there are lots of Indian and African or perhaps Haitian nods to the characters in the book. It's as if the writer intends to be ambiguous because they don't know or don't care. I'm not sure. I just don't see myself going through this book anymore because at this point it's a one.5 star for me and that's just down to the vast of this book spanning between 2 to 3 weeks for the characters. I really did not like the captain comparing Virgine to his wife and daughter interchangeably at times. It was very strange, and it came off as him being attracted to her and also wanted to take care of her and it was just very weird. Gross me out.
