June: Jess' Story by E.L. Stevens
4.0
June is the third installment to the Spearhead Lake Series and it was such an emotional roller coaster of a book. First and foremost, make sure you read books 1 and 2 before reading June. June is technically a stand alone novel, but there are characters that have stories before this book and if you haven’t read the first two you might be bit confused (take it from the girl who just read June first). This was my first E.L. Stevens book and it will not be my last. The spice was perfect, the plot twists were definitely unexpected, and overall I cannot wait for the next book! Jessica, Alex, Brit and Damian are all fantastic characters. Jessica is a rockstar handling everything that was thrown at her the way she did. I cannot say too much about the plot without spoiling unintentionally, but WOAH what an ending. I couldn’t be happier with how June ended, even with hoping for a completely different ending at the beginning of the book. If you know you know.
Thank you so much to Luna Literary and E.L. Stevens for the arc! I will be going back to read books 1 and 2!
Favorite Quote: “And if I thought I couldn’t be happier or more in love with this man, I would be dead-ass wrong as this exact moment. Because the was my end-all be-all. He was my pièce de résistance. He was my sun and my moon, my beginning and end. He was my serendipity. And he was all mine.”
