Dr Robin Wall Kimmerer’s voice and insight on botanical world around us and her bridging the gap between her indigenous roots and scholarly knowledge. A little slow to start. I made bookmarks on chapters “Goldenrod and Asters”, “A Mother’s Work”, and “Honorable Harvesting.” It has changed how I haven’t the wild foods around me and how I can honor the land I use.
