Corruptible: Who Gets Power and How It Changes Us by Brian Klaas

4.0

Wow, what a read!
I thought I would leave this book feeling angry at our current governments and societies for letting powerful people get away with corruption and that we were doomed to repeat history over and over.
Instead, I gained a deeper knowledge of human roots and behaviors, on nature, and centuries of innate beliefs that have shaped our communities today.

There are so many aspects and details in this book, backed by various scientific data that it doesn’t have to be the way it is now. There are feasible changes and small steps we can take to create change and most just systems.

Really great read! It was fascinating and attention grabbing with all the anecdotes and experiments!
