The Sweetness of Forgetting by Kristin Harmel

1.0

This is probably the worst written book I have read in a while. World war II is a fascinating idea and the personalized stories always tend to grab you, so even when the writing isn't great there is space for me to fall in love with the story. This was the most trite and astonishingly intrepid bit of writing where the story wasn't interesting and it seemed to be written by a grade schooler. I have read some other books by her and I always get sucked into reading another one due to the high ratings and then regret the whole experience.

If you love WW II stories or love reading in general, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND TO NEVER READ THIS BOOK!
