This was a set-up for all the couples in the rest of the series. I only know this because I read these all sorts of out of order, which is not my norm. Kate Reader is now one of go to's for contemporary romance. I really have enjoyed the novellas and full length books in this series. Great chemistry, strong family connections and snarky dialogue in every book! Meader now has a hockey series that I will be picking up once I read the two last novellas in this series.
