Greenwood by Michael Christie

It’s been a long time since a book has left me speechless and tear-streaked. This was absolutely beautiful. It’s a book that focuses on 4 generations of Greenwoods - each individual somehow intricately involved with trees. And it’s how the story is told starting in 2034 and working its way back to 1908 and then forward again that makes this a masterpiece of storytelling. I just can’t get over how real these characters felt and how everything was pieced together so seamlessly. Ugh ok I’ll stop gushing but please do yourself a favor & read this book.
