The Fantastical Journey of Gavryn Wickert by Levi Pierpont

5.0

I may have written this book.

Maybe.

Okay, I wrote this book, so I'm biased.

The beginning may feel a bit drab to you. You may see marks of amateurism. The middle picks up a bit.

The plot twists might not feel very twisty.

But the one thing that makes me enjoy this book, even though I know where it's going? The characters. I don't know what it is, but these people were real to me. Their tendencies, their eccentricities. And I hope you'll stick through to the end and get a chance to meet these people like I have.

It was a hard book to write. It's 60,000 words! (Almost exactly.) It took me a while. But I think I'll write better books as I grow in my abilities. This one, though, will always have a special place in my heart. It was truly a journey.

Let me know if you read it!

P.S. This book is not yet published. In June and July, a select few will have a chance to read and edit the book. I hope to publish August 21st, which I did not realise was actually on (or near?) the date of the complete solar eclipse in the US. So... Maybe I'll be changing the publishing date.
