Meg Smitherman's writing is so elegant. She weaves mystery into her story so intricately and brings on the horror in tasteful brushstrokes, creating a dark, disturbing atmosphere. I was left with so many questions after reading this, and the twist of what happened to Ami's crew left me reeling. Brilliant.
