This series is really fun and I love seeing The Little Mermaid play out in the modern world.
Ariel is wanting to take her promised year off after 15 years of being with her sisters as the group/band Siren Seven, but her father has other plans. So she runs away with Eric (and with her real first name Melody), a frontman of an up and coming band for their tour so she can experience life outside her bubble.
I love that Ariel keeps a list of mundane things she wants to and never got to do. Eric is an amazing man who does what he does for his grandfather who passed. Even warned away from each other, Melody and Eric fall into each other's orbit and fall in love.
I love the sister's chats throughout the book. They make me laugh and make me long to talk to my sisters immediately!
