The readers' room is where book submissions go in a publishing house. There, the manuscript could get a sun, a crescent moon, or a square. Sugar Flowers gets an enthusiastic sun from the readers, but the author is a mystery and no one knows who it is. But then real life events start to follow the novel and the police gets involved. This book is well written and has moments of cleverness, but it's a strange book in a good way. I liked the characters, but the reveal felt a little rushed. For a short and quick mystery read, it was fine, but definitely not my favorite Antoine Lauraine book.
