I accidentally closed the window before my review finished saving and don't want to waste more time on a fairly bad book, so let me cut to the chase: the book contained fatphobia and the main antagonist was a demonized version of a person with a mental illness. The premise wasn't believable and the plot was paper-thin window dressing for slasher horror, which didn't come anywhere close to redeeming the previously mentioned flaws. Actual rating: 2.5/5 stars; would have DNF'd in the first half if I hadn't been reading it so I could read and review my ARC of the sequel. Don't recommend!
