The Name of the Wind by Patrick Rothfuss

4 stars. I loved this story, but I also hate that it doesn’t really have an ending so I will have to read book 2 (and will probably get disappointed again by having no ending and book 3 doesn’t seem to be happening, so no end to the story ever?).
I can also see why some people don’t like this book as there are some tropes that are a bit heavily underlined, for me the most obvious one is the child genius trope. But, I must confess, I’m a sucker for child genius and coming of age and therefore I did enjoy this book a lot. I would probably have rated it higher if the story had something similar to an ending, but nevertheless I enjoyed my time with it.
