Oof— conceptually, this book was made for me. I love claustrophobic creepy stories and the deep deep ocean scares me. Unfortunately this was insanely boring for me, and  the characters drove me nuts. There was a lot of strange dialogue too, that didn’t seem like it fit with the story.
